Tenure with Crosland Since 1954 Professional Experience John Crosland, Jr., literally learned the construction and real estate business from the ground up. As a teenage employee of the John Crosland Company, he worked on framing crews and staked out footings for foundations at home construction sites. While serving as a U.S. Army officer, he was responsible for construction of a school in war-torn South Korea. Involved in every aspect of Crosland ventures, he has supervised construction, sold homes and developed property. Along the way, he has received numerous industry honors, including being named national "Builder of the Year" by Professional Builder magazine. His distinguished career earned him induction into the Housing Hall of Fame in the National Housing Center in Washington, D. C. In celebration of his 50 years with the company, a book on the Croslands' history was released in 2005. Affiliations and Accreditations - Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte, Founding Chairman
