Crosland Properties Honored with Top National Award for Multi-family Customer Service Excellence

Charlotte, N.C. (April 12, 2001) - Crosland Properties, a division of The Crosland Group, Inc., has taken top honors in a national awards program that surveys residents of multi-family properties about their satisfaction with property managers’ customer service.

The National Multi-family Customer Service Award for Excellence is sponsored by Los Angeles-based CEL & Associates, the nation’s largest surveyor of resident satisfaction within the multi-family industry.

Participating for the first time, Crosland has taken the top national honor in Level IV (designated for companies with 25 properties or fewer) and is the only firm in the country to attain the “Best in the Industry” ranking in its category for 2000. CEL presents four awards annually, recognizing companies according to portfolio size.

"Residents of 17 properties were surveyed about our performance," explains Justin F. "Jud" Little, Crosland Properties president. "Customer service is critical to our success, and we are pleased that our customer satisfaction is high. It’s both a great honor and a great motivator for everyone at Crosland Properties."

Also called the "A List," the award was created to recognize companies whose management performance and commitment to the highest quality of service are considered to be the best in the industry. The honor is bestowed on those commercial and multi-family real estate firms that achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction with tenants or residents.

According to Christopher E. Lee, CEL president and CEO, "Approximately 3,000 properties encompassing over 800,000 units nationwide were considered for this recognition, creating significantly greater competition than in prior years; thus, the performance in 2000 is truly impressive."

Participants responded to questions about satisfaction with customer service as provided by their property management firms. A crystal award is presented to recognize the achievement.
