Crosland and Pappas Properties, developers of Birkdale Village,
recipient of the 2003 Pillars of the Industry Award, a 52-acre, mixed-use development in Huntersville, N.C.,
announce the signing of two new tenants, Total Wine and Lane Bryant.

Total Wine, a junior anchor, will open its third location in North Carolina in May offering wine,
beer and related accessories from their new 9,500 sq. ft. retail space.

In July, Lane Bryant, a retailer specializing in plus sizes for women, will open its doors in a
new 4,302 sq. ft. store, its first in north Charlotte.
“These retailers are positive additions to our strong core of retailers,” says Anne Carter Smith, leasing
associate for Crosland. “We’re very pleased to have them and feel
certain they will add further value to the distinctive shopping and lifestyle
experience that is available at Birkdale Village.”

in 1991 when David and Robert Trone opened two wine stores in the State of
