Crosland Named Top 40 NC Family-Friendly Company 4th Year in a Row

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Sep. 14, 04) - Crosland, Inc. has once again been selected as one of the top forty Family-Friendly companies in North Carolina for the 100-500 employee category. Crosland is proud to have been named to this prestigious list four years in a row.

Robin Henshaw, who has worked at Crosland for two years, knows that her greatest role in life is being a mother. "However," she adds, "I am a mother who works outside the home in order to help support my family. I have two children, and I love playing an active role in their lives. That is often hard to do when you work outside the home. Crosland has allowed me to have the best of both worlds."

Because Crosland offers its employees supervisor-approved flextime, Henshaw was able to modify her schedule and respond to a family crisis when her mother-in-law was diagnosed with cancer in 2003.

According to Henshaw, Crosland's supportive attitude has allowed her to achieve a healthy balance of work and life, which in turn has made her a more efficient and loyal employee.
