Staples Superstore Coming to Providence MarketPlace

Mount Juliet, Tenn., July 12, 2006 – Staples office supply superstore and a variety of restaurants have recently announced planned openings at Providence MarketPlace, the lifestyle and entertainment retail component of the 1,000-acre Providence community just outside of Nashville.

“These new stores will continue to bring convenience and variety to this growing suburb,” said Charles Thrift, senior leasing associate for Crosland. “We are very pleased that interest in the center continues to grow from national retailers as well as residents from the greater Nashville area.”

Opening its first Mount Juliet location, Staples is the world’s largest office products company. The company is committed to making it easy to buy a wide range of office products, including supplies, technology, furniture and business services. Staples serves consumers and businesses ranging from home-based professions to Fortune 500 companies in 21 countries throughout North and South America, Europe and Asia.

Also joining Providence MarketPlace will be an array of restaurants including Wendy’s, Chick-fil-A, Taco Bell, Red Lobster, The Olive Garden, O’Charley’s and Logan’s Roadhouse.

Logan’s Roadhouse revisits the classic roadhouse from days past and brings it to life in a modern way through its welcoming hospitality, attentive service and an upbeat atmosphere. The menu will feature items ranging from aged steaks, hand-cut on the premises each day, to the freshest chicken breasts around. Healthy choices include flame-grilled salmon and other catch-of-the-day fish to fresh-made salads. Logan’s will be open for lunch and dinner daily.

“The Mount Juliet area is growing rapidly and we are excited about being a part of that growth,” said Julie Davis, spokeswoman for Logan’s Roadhouse. “The combination of retail and restaurants is an exciting blend and we think the

Logan’s Roadhouse concept is going to fit in nicely.” Logan’s Roadhouse opened July 1, while the other restaurants will follow in late summer and throughout the fall. Staples will open in September.
