|  |  | Stowers joins Crosland as Project ManagerRaleigh, N.C., October 19, 2007 – Crosland, one of the Triangle’s leading real estate companies, has named Ed Stowers as a project manager in its Raleigh office. He has been assigned project management responsibility for a number of Crosland’s signature projects in the Triangle area including The Residences at the Arboretum in Cary as well as Cosgrove Hill and Dobbins Hill II in Chapel Hill.
Stowers was previously a preconstruction manager with Wood Partners in Charlotte, N.C. His commercial construction experience includes more than 25 years as a senior project manager with Thompson/BE&K, Shelco, Carlsom/SAE, Dickerson and David M. Hunt. A seasoned veteran, Stowers has worked in the building industry in the Carolinas for the past 34 years.
“With all of our growth in the Raleigh region, Ed is a timely addition to our team,” said Glenn Crum, vice president of Contracting for Crosland’s Raleigh office. “Given his background and experience, we expect him to begin contributing from day one.”
Stowers is a graduate of Temple University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Construction Engineering Technology.
Crosland employs 75 people in the Raleigh-Durham market and currently has more than 1,400 multi-family units in the development pipeline, 750,000 square feet of retail space and six single-family communities that include 3,000 residential lots purchased or under contract.
