Hawthorne’s New York Pizza Coming to Olde Towne Village

Charlotte, N.C., Feb. 4, 2008 – Olde Towne Village, located at the corner of Quail Hollow and Carmel roads in Southeast Charlotte, will soon welcome Hawthorne’s New York Pizza and Bar. The restaurant is scheduled to open on Feb.12.

This will be Hawthorne’s third Charlotte restaurant with other locations on East 7th Street in the Elizabeth neighborhood and another at Highland Creek on Prosperity Church Road in northeast Charlotte.

“We are so very pleased to open our third location in South Charlotte,” said John Adams, proprietor of Hawthorne’s Pizza. “Consumer demand has been high in this area and we are very fortunate to find a location that serves so many area neighborhoods and communities.”

Hawthorne’s (3,600 square feet) will offer a delectable menu with appetizers, salads, sandwiches, entrees, pasta, and pizza. Guests can choose from a traditional selection of New York-style toppings such as meatballs, sausage, banana peppers, red onions, and mozzarella cheese. Hawthorne’s will also offer outside dining. The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. – midnight, Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. – 2 a.m., Friday and Saturday.
