Crosland's affordable housing communities are rent controlled to provide significantly lower than market rents and income controlled, so that these communities are only available to households with low or very low incomes.
From our inception, Crosland has provided affordable housing for
families and senior citizens. Since the 1980's, we have developed,
built, renovated or managed nearly 2,000 such affordable apartment
homes in more than 25 communities across the Southeast.

In many cases, we have collaborated with non-profit housing
sponsors to provide them with the needed development, construction or
management expertise to help them successfully complete affordable
housing development projects in their communities.
Crosland currently manages a portfolio that includes ten completed affordable housing communities. These communities typically maintain substantial waiting lists and are usually fully occupied:
